The Mission of St. Saviour in Wabamun celebrated “Summer Saints” with food and fun on Sunday, August 2,2015 . At sermon time, we moved to tables to learn about our chosen saint. We read an article and were asked to think about the gifts of each saint, as well as our own gifts. By their example, the saints show us ways to follow Jesus. It was not all study/think time. We had lots of fun, too. We coloured a picture of our saint, taped the picture to a stick and paraded our flags around the church to a rousing rendition of “When the Saints Go Marching.” Following the service we enjoyed a pot luck lunch.
